A clean, well cared for and managed fishery comprising of two separate lakes totaling 5 acres, up to 13 meters deep, within private land of approximately 20 acres, set in a valley in the countryside at the foot of the Lancashire Pennines.

These waters are supplied by natural spring water sourced from catchments of 175 acres. A wooded heather moorland is the backdrop for this noted Big Trout Fishery. Domestic fowl and wild life add to this rural setting. The excellent tarmac car parking facility is situated between the two lakes which allows good access to all banks around both waters.

The on site facilities which include fishing tackle sales, tackle hire and hot and cold snacks are all available from our ticket office, which is situated on the upper lake. Our toilet facilities are clean and disabled friendly and are accessed from the patio area at the front of our licensed restaurant adjacent to the car park.Our opening times are varied throughout our season so please telephone in advance for our opening times.

We stock Rainbow trout 2.5lb to 20lb plus (The fishery record is 29lb, we are twice holders of the British Rainbow trout Record), Brown trout 2lb to 20lb plus (The fishery record is 24lb 1oz.), Blue and Golden trout in small numbers.Blue trout record 20lb 2oz Golden trout record 21lb 4oz. We are a Troutmaster water.
